Mario and Nintendo was a huge part of my childhood growing up, so having the opportunity to work with such a legendary game studio was a very surreal, nostalgic, and humbling experience. As of January 26, 2012, Super Mario 3D Land has sold more than 5 million units globally, becoming the first 3DS game to reach the milestone and is the best selling game for the Nintendo 3DS. Japan’s new “Hayabusa” bullet train can travel at up to 186mph and features a luxury business class carriage. Japan Railway plans to push the speed past 200mph in the near future, making it the fastest train in Japan. The Tōkaidō Shinkansen is the world’s busiest high-speed rail line. Carrying over 151 million passengers a year, it has transported more passengers than any other high speed line in the world. ( over 4 billion people! ) Check out the debut spot here.

Nike has teamed up with LeBron James to deliver “A fusion of the best elements that Nike Basketball has to offer” in the form of the LEBRON 9, a futuristic shoe that’s literally out of this world. Bethesda Game Studios is getting ready to launch one of the most highly anticipated games of 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The trailer we created at Logan does a wonderful job instilling fear and anticipation for Skyrim’s worldwide release on November 11th, 2011. If you’re not familiar with The Elder Scroll’s signature non-linear, open world approach to RPGs, you may be slightly overwhelmed by the immense level of detail given to every aspect of the game, the deep character development, and most importantly: Dragons. Ken Block is a pro racer with the Monster World Rally Team. When Ken isn’t sleeping, he can almost always be found going sideways. On dirt, pavement, on a dock, up walls, underground, on a boat, you name it. Gymkhana 4 combines Hollywood antics with some good old fashion hooning. It was a blast working with Ben Conrad + Ken and Co. on a video that proves a bunch of Hollywood VFX nerds can still have fun at work. Check out Gymkhana 4 – The Hollywood Megamercial!

When you pursue perfection, you don’t just engineer the world’s most advanced driving simulator… You engineer amazing. Our VFX team at Logan created a vibrant nighttime city environment for the Lexus driving simulator complete with 360 panoramic renders. Check it out!

I had to delay the launch of my new reel because I’ve been working with Logan’s VFX team on a live action / CG cinematic for Platinum Games’ recently announced title, Vanquish. Directed by Shinji Mikami (creator of the Resident Evil series) and produced by Atsushi Inaba (Devil May Cry, MadWorld, Okami), Vanquish is Shinji Mikami’s first game under the Platinum Games label. With such big names calling the shots, expectations for this game are colossal. I’ve added the Director’s Cut Debut Trailer to my Portfolio, along with a new VFX Demo Reel for 2010 showcasing my skills as a 3D Modeler and Maya Generalist for Visual Effects in commercial, film, and video games.

I’m still in the process of getting everything online for the new site, but I’ve posted the latest work I’ve been doing at Logan.
